cheerful, private bedrooms, a cozy living and dining room, and a very
large bathroom with an extra deep tub for the comfort of laboring moms.

A Nurse-Midwife is a registered nurse with at least one additional year of education in midwifery and women's health care. A Nurse-Midwife cares for a woman and her baby during pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum period with gentleness, compassion and respect. A Nurse-Midwife views birth as a normal process, not a medical procedure. A Nurse-Midwife trusts in the ability of the woman's body A Nurse-Midwife offers care to healthy women and their newborns at home, in freestanding birth centers or in the hospital.
